The exhibition "Heritage of great steppe: masterpieces of jewelry art" will be held in May-June in Baku on the base of the agreement between the national museum of history of Azerbaijan and the national museum of Kazakhstan, reports Trend news agency.
"For the first time in the history of Azerbaijan about 140 pieces of ancient jewelry art of Kazakhstan including the full vestment of the famous "Golden Man" will be delivered to the exhibition," the message reports.
The exposition will be presented in the exhibition hall of the national historical museum of Azerbaijan.
The organizers reminded, "The Golden Man" is saks fighter wearing golden vestment- he is one of the symbols of Kazakhstan.
"Discovered in 1969 by Kazakh archeologist Kemal Akishev, the "Golden Man" discovered a new page of unique culture of ancient Turkic tribes. Thousands of works made of precious metals, clothes, household items have been discovered together with the man," reads the announcement.
