The banners in the Kazakh language with the old variant of the Latin graphics will be corrected in Kazakhstan in compliance with the new version of the alphabet, said Dauren Abayev, minister of information and communications of Kazakhstan, Qamshy.kz information agency reports.
"As I know, not many banners have been translated into the new alphabet. I think they will be corrected. The current version of the alphabet is final," said D. Abayev.
He reminded the previous variant of the Kazakh alphabet called mass discussions. The opinions of IT specialists were also taken into account who said that apostrophes use was not comfortable for computer work. The latest variant has no apostrophes but has acutes.
"Many specialists have been attracted in this issue. We heard their opinion. I think the new variant will be more efficient and less costly," he added.
