‘Astana’ Presidential Professional Sports Club (Kazakhstan) in collaboration with ‘Eurasian Broadcasting Enterprise Limited’ (EBEL, Great Britain), the owner of ‘Setanta Sport Eurasia’ and ‘Setanta Sport Eurasia plus’ work on development and promotion of national sports tv content.
Today the agreement secured by signing Memorandum of understanding at the Embassy of Kazakhstan in London. The document expresses interests of parties in promotion of sports events with participation of ‘Astana’ sports clubs on ‘Setanta Sport Eurasia’ and ‘Setanta Sport Eurasia plus’ tv channels.
This way, wide audience of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Estonia will enjoy watching achievements of Kazakhstan’s best professional clubs in live broadcasts. There will be exclusive interviews, news blocks, analytical programmes and so many more about the clubs that proudly represent ‘Astana’ brand worldwide.
The first sports programme will go on air at the EBEL international network in September 2018.
One of the most important questions discussed during negotiations between the international television operator and ‘Astana’ was the creation of new sports tv channel in the Setanta Sport network in Kazakh language. The project is aimed to increase the need of national tv sports content at the international arena. This will allow Kazakhstan’s journalism develop new creative capacity.
‘Astana’ Presidential Club expressed interest to coordinate involvement of Kazakhstan’s sports journalists for the project implementation.
